California State Parks is launching a new guided northern elephant seal tour at Hearst San Simeon State Park Friday.Park officials say this is a fun, educational tour of the area s most charismatic mammals. On the tour, people will learn about the elephant seal cycle while overlooking battling bulls, birthing cows and cackling pups. Officials want to remind people to bring their binoculars.Tours start Friday and run through the end of March.
